International Mixed Grouping Activity: Going Viral Videos
The students watched
the videos on “Why videos go viral” and “What makes something go viral?”
Working in international groups, the students decided on the content to promote
and record a short video. The video was uploaded on YouTube. The winners were announced based on the number
of views.

Our activity is called “Going Viral.” In this activity we chose different topics and prepared videos about them by using Web 2.0 tools. Then, we uploaded them on YouTube and tried to go viral. Moreover, the good thing was that we were not alone. We made all of these with our foreign friends who were from Italy and Serbia. We shared lots of things together. We are still friends and we are keep in touch all the time. We created memories even online. This feels amazing. Although we are all in different places on the Earth, we have a connection. Is not it awesome? Moreover, I want to talk about some other pros of this Project. I created my first video via this Project which develops my research and technology skills. I also searched the subjects in English. That improves my language skills. Last but not least, I want to thank everyone who worked hard on this Project, especially to our teachers.
